Overview

Two plans are offered, the Mega-Phase and Pro-Phase. Mega-Phase is priced at $7.95/month with an incredible 200 GB of disk space and 3000 GB disk space! Pro-Phase is priced at $11.95/month with 250 GB of disk space and unmetered bandwidth. Mega-Phase is the traditional 1 domain per account hosting plan while Pro-Phase allows you to host unlimited domains. All plans require a one-time setup fee of $29.95 (currently waived!). The plan features of the $7.95 Mega-Phase plan are listed on your left. You should also take a look at the details listed in their site here to be impressed! The plan offers a lot of other features rather than just large disk space and bandwidth.

Customer Support

All our inquiries are answered promptly by midPhase. In order for your issue to be managed and tracked properly, it is recommended that you submit your support ticket via the support ticket system. They currently have a ticket response time of 30 minutes and problem resolution time of 2 hours, which is pretty amazing!

If you are too lazy to submit a ticket, you can always email support@midphase.com for support. You can also make a toll-free call to them at 1-866-MIDPHASE. It is recommended that you create a support ticket before calling them so they can easily refer to your issue.

They have set up a community forum recently (Visit). Since the forum is pretty new, there are not many members and posts yet. It will need some time to grow. Other top 10 hosts which offer community forums are PowWeb, LunarPages and Hostony. PowWeb has the largest community forum (~23,000 members), while LunarPages is second (~15,000 members).

Free Domain Name For Life

Get a free domain name when you signup for their plan. If you leave midPhase in less than a year, you will need to pay $21.95 for the domain name. As long as you keep staying with them, the domain is yours for free.

Customized CPanel Control Panel (Demo)

Disadvantages

Very Limited MySQL Databases

This plan comes only with 1 MySQL database and even the better Pro-Phase plan comes only with 3 MySQL databases. With such limited databases, you might not be able to install many of the free scripts in Fantastico. So even if you can host unlimited domains with the Pro-Phase plan, the limited MySQL databases might be a big disadvantages for you. For comparison, BlueHost is offering 50 MySQL databases while LunarPages is offering unlimited MySQL databases.
